Luận án Minh bạch và công bố thông tin của các công ty niêm yết trên thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam

Sự khác biệt của hai Sở Giao dịch chứng khoán có ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng công bố thông tin và minh bạch tại Việt Nam. Theo hướng dẫn thi hành Luật Chứng khoán tại Nghị định 58/2012/NĐ-CP: điều 53 và điều 54 về điều kiện niêm yết chứng khoán tại Sở Giao dịch chứng khoán. Các công ty có quy mô vốn góp từ 30 tỷ đồng niêm yết tại HNX và các công ty có quy mô vốn góp từ 120 tỷ đồng niêm yết tại HOSE. Quy mô công ty là một trong nhiều yếu tố có ảnh hưởng đến mức độ công bố thông tin của công ty niêm yết. Mặt khác, một số kết quả nghiên cứu cho biết nơi niêm yết có ảnh hưởng đến mức độ công bố thông tin của công ty niêm yết (Hope et al., 2007; Christiansen and Koldertsova, 2009; Urquiza et al., 2010; Jian et al., 2011; Eng and Ling, 2012), Do đó, luận án sử dụng biến địa điểm Sở giao dịch niêm yết làm biến kiểm soát để tìm các bằng chứng cập nhập trên TTCK Việt Nam. Kết quả luận án đã chứng minh nơi niêm yết có ảnh hưởng đến lợi nhuận công ty và thống nhất với các kết quả thực nghiệm trên
