                    5.5.1. Những hạn chế
Thứ nhất: Mẫu nghiên cứu của tác giả tập trung tại thành phố Hà Nội. Mặc dù
tác giả đã có những lập luận và bằng chứng chứng minh sự đại diện của khu vực nội
thành Hà Nội so với thị trường Việt Nam. Kết quả nghiên cứu có thể đúng với các
thành phố lớn và đông dân cư cũng như mật độ điểm giao dịch của ngân hàng đông
như Hà Nội, tuy nhiên có thể chưa đúng với nhiều địa phương khác, đặc biệt là các địa
phương vùng xa.
Thứ hai: Mặc dù luận án đã có gắng cụ thể hóa trong hành văn và diễn đạt thang
đo để đối tượng khảo sát là KHCN có thể hiểu được nội dung của thang đo, tuy nhiên trên
thực tế có sự khác biệt về trình độ, quan điểm của đối tượng trả lời. Đặc biệt là KHCN có
sự phân tán rất lớn nên một số ý của bảng hỏi có thể gây khó khăn hoặc hiểu nhầm cho
một số đối tượng. Điều này ít nhiều ảnh hưởng đến độ chính xác của kết quả trả lời.
Thứ ba: Về phương diện lý thuyết, có nhiều mô hình và nhiều trường phái
nghiên cứu về lòng trung thành, lòng trung thành hành vi và lòng trung thành thái độ .
Tuy nhiên, luận án chưa thể nghiên cứu chi tiết và đầy đủ tất cả các mô hình và trường
phái đó.
Thứ tư: Trên thực tế có các nhân tố khác có thể ảnh hưởng đến lòng trung thành
của khách hàng đối với thương hiệu như: đặc thù vùng miền, văn hóa, thói
quen chưa được xem xét chi tiết trong nghiên cứu này.
5.5.2. Hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo
Nghiên cứu này tiến hành đối với nhóm KHCN gửi tiền tiết kiệm. Tuy nhiên,
theo quan điểm hiện đại và thực tế tại các NHTM, đối tượng hộ gia đình và doanh
nghiệp siêu vi mô (quy mô ít hơn 10 người) cũng được xếp vào phân khúc khách hàng
cá nhân do có nhiều điểm tương đồng trong quá trình ra quyết định, do đó đây có thể
là hướng nghiên cứu mở rộng cho đề tài.
Đối tượng KHCN ngoài sử dụng tiền tiết kiệm, còn sử dụng nhiều SPDV khác
như tiền vay, chuyển tiền, bảo hiểm ngân hàng, bảo lãnh, internet banking.do đó, có
thể nghiên cứu lòng trung thành của các đối tượng này đối với ngân hàng. Đặc biệt là
nghiên cứu đối tượng gửi tiền tiết kiệm online để so sánh với lòng trung thành của đối
tượng gửi tiền tiết kiệm tại quầy cũng là một hướng nghiên cứu hấp dẫn nhất là trong
thực tế dịch vụ internet banking đang rất phát triển và được ưa chuộng
